In honor of this year’s best performances, W Magazine has put together a 20-page photo series entitled Best Performances which show actors photographed as characters in past best performances. I found the photo of Dakota Fanning mesmerizing. It is a sensuous re-imaging of Jodie Foster's character Iris. Photographs by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin; styled by Melanie Ward. Tom Ford’s leather tank top, Chanel’s calfskin shorts, Patricia Underwood hat, and Chanel bracelets.
