‘Little Girl and Boy Lost’ in Vogue is an editorial styled by fashion
director Grace Coddington and inspired by the Metropolitan Opera’s
production of ‘Hansel and Gretel.’ It stars models Lily Cole and Andrew
Garfield as the title characters as well as members of the Metropolitan
Opera, the Junior Choristers of Grace Church and Lady Gaga as the
witch.
The editorial appeared in the Vogue US December 2009 and was photographed by Annie Leibovitz. ‘Little Girl and Boy Lost’
showcases innocent, mostly white, fashions from Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la
Renta, Maison Martin Margiela, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Balenciaga
and Yves Saint Laurent.
